Video of my 3.4 M5 runnning 0-75

http://home.attbi.com/~bsimas2/102-0289_MVI.AVI

you'll need to open it in windows media player to get it to work.

are all 3.4's this slow? is this normal? decent?

my car feels slower than slow

anyway, the video was done by me sticking the camara on top of the airbag, enjoy and let me know if this is a normal looking run for a 3.4

well my car is pretty much 100% stock so i think your car may be a little quicker

the only changes i have made to my car is the Z28 muffler and tips (maybe .000000001 hp gain ) and the formula wheels, which may be a little lighter than the ugly *** stockers, but who knows

so basically 99.99% stock.

definately not a turbo car, hehe

it's wanting an LT1 bad...

also i made that run on roughly a full tank of gas, and had most of my stuff in the back that i came home for thanksgiving with also a sub and amp, etc. etc.

i noticed you kinda stuttered the launch a bit. but it seems like it has some grunt in the midrange.

do you usually shift at/before 5k rpm? I don't know how the 3.4l's go, but on my 3.8, i usually shift at/past 5200rpm for best accel times.

nice vid tho.

yeah, it has NO power above 5k rpms really...seems quite a bit slower when shifting at 6k

Damn you car sounded pretty good. Alot lower rumble than mine. It looks like you beat my auto though. According to the video run time that was about 75 mph in 15 secs that seems pretty good.

Have you ever video taped your car on the inside or outside? My 6 cylinder sounds like an V8 - and it's modless

Seem kinda slow to me. My A4 will do 60 in 8-8.5 sec on a soft launch. It started to slow when you shifted to 3rd. Maybe try shifting 2-3 @ 5300-5400 RPMs, in order to drop 3rd around 4K. Don't rev you engine to 6K, that's past redline!
