TransGo Shift Kit

Hi All,

My homie wants to get a shift kit and was wondering how hard the TransGo shift kit is to install. I seen a few pics of all the parts and it looks like a biznitch even without the tranny removal. If anybody has experience and could tell me some of the difficulties that'd be great. Oh yea we have average mechanical experience. We installed the shifter on my car in an hour. Thanks for any help

I had mine done at a local shop and I watched while they did it quite a few small springs and ball bearings as well as a couple holes having to be drilled. Took the shop about 4 hours todo and they changed the servo at the same time, I would say let a person with the know how do it or you might find your self in a bit of a mess
just my thoughts hope this helps

depends how mechanically inclined u are....its supposedly not that hard and they include that video...

i personally would just rather pay a shop to do it cause i dont wanna mess with the trans and i'd mess something up...its like a bill to get it installed (thts what i was quoted)
