you will have to take the wireing harness out of the z28 even the dash harness switch it all out with yours then it should all hook up...but like blown94 said there should be a thread about it

sticky at the top of the forum. It's a beeeyatch just to let you know unless you're mechanically inclined and have a good set of tools.

The answer to your question is the reason I have a 3.4 Camaro and a Z-28 Camaro. By the time I looked at the work involved and the money involved in the swap, it was a better decision to just buy the Z. If you really want to do it, though, you'll need to use the K-member, complete wiring harness, and gauges from the Z-28, and I'm sure there's more that I don't know because I just haven't done it.

See my avatar, green car= 1995 3.4L, Green motor= LT1 thats currently in the green car .

It really is a PITA, but you can do it. I'm accually taking the lt1 out of the green car now and putting it in a firebird... I'm on a firebird kick now...

You still have the 3.4 sitting around or not? Looking for a set of pistons.

Ls1 over lt1

Honestly if i had a pony car camaro and wanted to do an engine swap i would just go ahead and throw an ls1 in there. The lt1's are good and all but the ls1's have the latest in materials, electronics, and engine design philosophy.
