changing window motors on my 94 camaro

Hey all I have a 94 V6 camaro with power windows motos still from the factory and was hoping of replacing them with some new ones. My question is can I change out the motors I have now with some from like a 1999+. Are all the mountings the same and fitings confugred the same way or will I have to just break down andbuy a new one or can I go find a good working one from a junkyark and put it in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

93-02 window motors are interchangeable. It's fairly easy to do but a little time consuming. I used the way that doesn't require you to take out the regulator.

My only tip is doing it this way (click here) . At the bottom of the page theres picture and directions of each step. It's pretty easy but will probably take around 3 hours the first time.

Thanks to shoebox for doing the write up.

The window motors are not as difficult as you may think. If your current ones are working I would not change them....if you need help, I live in Houston and can help.
