Question Simple Question from a Newb

I have a 2002 v6 3.8 camaro and I want to start buying upgrades for the car but I still have the 7 year warranty on it, so I do not want to void the warrant! What upgrades are the best things I can get for the car with out voiding the warranty? Right now im thinking of exhaust (corsa) and probably a body kit for looks. Just want to know whats the best upgrades I can get for my car without voiding the warranty.

Thanks,
RedZ

Re: Simple Question from a Newb

Depends on the dealership. The GM dealership by my house still works on my car which is under warranty. So far I have done intake, exhaust, ignition, ect and mine is still covered under warranty. Mainly most bolt-on mods wont void your warranty...but when you start tearing into the internals is when you void warranty.

Now some dealerships wont even look at the car if it even has different plugs and wires. The one by my college said the mechanic wont look at it until I put the stock AC delco plugs and wires back on it..lol.

Read your warranty agreement carefully.

Most warrenties have to be honored, unless the dealership can prove that your modification caused the problem that you are trying to get fixed.

So which intake SLP CAI or K&N CAI? Also, can I get corsa exhaust for the 3.8 or is it only for the v8's?
