The American Thunder for the '98-02 has the resonator. Not sure how it sounds, A few people on this board seem to like it (though i'm not sure whether they mean the AT with or w/out the resonator). http://www.onestopexhaust.com/detail.cfm?menu_id=9541 PART#17358

I sent you my e-mail address in a PM. So whenever you have a chance, you can send it so I can check it out.

Thanks.

You could go to a muffler shop and buy a "FloPro" or similar muffler for $40 and have them put it on for another $30
I heard flopro sounds good but very quiet on the 3.8

Personally I'd rather go with a full catback and something I can just bolt onto myself without having to take it to a shop. I can go with the AT but am afraid it'll sound smooth but hollow like my Delta 40 in mid RPMS.

Haven't heard anything bad about the Hooker, heard they sound good the LT1's. Once again though i'll need to find a larger pipe, tips, a shop to install it all.

EDIT: http://www.lgmotorsports.com/catalog...t&car=ls1-fbod complete for ls1, one review so far says it sounds ricey about 4500 but this IS a 3.8
I'll have to do some more reading on it.

I would go with the flowmaster 80 series and a dynomax pipe. However slp loudmoth and edelbrock are also good alternatives. The flowmaster with the dynomax pipe should run you about $150 and then another $60 for installation. I have this set up on my car right now and it sounds great. Hope this helps...
