Radiator fluid leak (help please)

My car was over heating last week so I added some water into the radiator resovoir thinking it was low, well now I have noticed that where I added the water (radiator fluid stick area) has been obviously leaking there is yellow and white stains dried up on the cap and around the area, also I have this awefull smell of burning radiator fluid when my car gets hot. The hottest it as gotten so far is right under the red on the temp guage. Also my car is leaking oil and it looks to be somewhere in the center of the motor near were the accessory belt is (right behind it) not sure if this maybe related, is my car still safe to drive? Also I do believe my EGR valve is bad, could this be directly related? Sorry I don't know a lot about cars I really need some help though! thanks

EGR valve would not be related to the leak...both radiator or oil leak. I know that a bad EGR will throw a code but no real driveability problems because of one. It might, if stuck open, burn a spark plug wire but that is rare.

Check the weaphole under the car...if that is wet/looks like it has been wet, it is usually a sign of a water pump going out.

Good luck with her...I know it sucks to have stuff going bad with your car.

Could you tell me where the weaphole is exactly? I notice that it is really wet under my car and usually there is a large puddle... So probally water pump? In other ways to tell ? Thanks for the response man!

Its right in the middle of the water pump and if your facing the front of the pump and its kinda to the right. Just put your car on jack stands start the car and look up from under the car until you see where the leak originates from (thats how I found out where the weep hole is)

Okay, I will do that tomorrow, I am sure thats what it is then becaues my car gets hot pretty easy, but remember there is water comming outta the radiator fluid stick cap, maybe because the coolant is getting so hot it is steaming out or something? I have to go for a little drive today (about an hour) I will just leave my heat up all the way to help out on the overheating. By the way how much do water pumps run? And how is the install? I have the repair book for my car so I can probally figure it out but is it difficult? If not I may try to accomplish it tomorrow. Now about the oil leak, could that be a gasket or a seal maybe? If so would that be hard to replace also?(I am assuming yes) Thanks for the info thus far.

I just had my water pump replaced about a month ago and they charged me $145 parts and labor, but that was at a little service shop in Knoxville. Pep Boys on the other hand tried to charge me $350 for th part alone
