power loss

i have a 94 3.4, the car was'nt accelerating like it was suppose to so i gave it a tune up but it still has the same problem,i know its not firing on all cylinders but i dont know why , help me out please.

Check the spark plugs and wires, also make sure that they are connected properly

I'd have a look at the cat, if it goes, you'll definately have acceleration problems.

If it's not firing on all cylinders, and you've done plugs and wires.... next would be the coil and distributor. (don't forget you CAN still have a bad plug or wire).

If your acceleration is hesitant, other things you can look at are the air fliter, carbon in the T.B., a C.C. that is becoming clogged, clogged fuel filter, things that would abstruct air flow through the motor.

Did you check these or actually changed them? When I got missfires I had almost no power. Make sure to change both. Also do:fuel filter, air filter, and pcv.
