Pinion Seal

OK I had my pinion seal replaced on my 02 camaro. Is this a common leak spot and should it leak at only 33.000 miles? Just curious... thank god for warrenties lol

not sure if its extreamly common but I work in an auto shop and we have two 98+ v6 f-bodys that come in and both their pinion seal is leaking.

The pinion seal is a very common leak spot for the 7.5" 10 bolt rears. I just tossed a new one in the rear I swapped into my '87 because it was leaking.
