1987 Gn
1987 Gn
Hey guys, just got a '87 GN yesterday. Always wanted one and found one that is damn near mint condition. Are than any good sites to talk to other people about these cars, I do not want to mod this car. It has a chip but that's as far a I'm going with it. Thanks!

Re: 1987 Gn
I had an 87 with T-tops that was repainted the glassiest black paint you'd ever see. The guy that owned it before me owned a body shop and he painted it himself. Everywhere I went people commented on it and wanted to know where I had it painted. One day I awoke and it was gone and later found burnt to a crisp. I had an alarm, a club, and a kill switch and they somehow got it anyway. Man did that hurt, I loved that car.
Only mods I had were a chip, a fuel pump, adjustable boost/wastegate, cat- back system and an adjustable fuel regulator. Turn the boost up a little and the fuel pressue up a little and get a nice cat back system and you're set. Much more than that and then you have to do the tranny because it will not handle too much more power.
My dad had six 87's and an 86. He just sold his last one to a guy who drove from Georgia to Ohio to buy it. One of his had a stage 2 engine and dyno'd at 750HP and he drove it to work everyday for about a year! My brother had an 87, 86, and an 87 TType.
They are awesome cars! Enjoy!
