Question Picking the right tires??

okay my car needs some new tires but on my 93 i got some without doing any research and they were crap. i just wanted to know if anybody can point out some good ones for my 2000. it rains like maybe 4 or 5 times out of the month down here and i do some traveling. some looking for all season but performance because for my college graduation this semester my parents told me they would buy me my supercharger i wanted lol here are some that i think i might look in too. any experieces or recommendations would be helpful. i tried the appearence section but everybody told me not to waste money and save up to get rims. i just need tires. maybe later a rim change. so any help??

1. Bridgestone- http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....um=355TR6RE910

2. Yokohama- http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....rtnum=355TR6T4

i hope the links work

I've got Kuhmo's on mine. They're EXCELLENT in the rain. No complaints here, and they're fairly inexpensive. I have 275/40/17's and they were like $130 a piece. Falken makes a good Z rated tire that has a very aggressive tread pattern to it. Very deep grooves for the rain. Just my 2 cents.

ive got kuhmo supra 712's, i dont know if thats what you guys are talking about but i dont think that they are all season, but anyway, they are 245-40-18 and they are awesome in the rain but if it snows i suggest that you either get another set of rims with snow tires or get another tire cuz man its scary sliding down a hill in the snow into heavy traffic the day after mounting them. my old tires didnt do that so i am guessing its the tires. but other than the in the snow theyre the great for the price.

i ended up going with the yokahamas since they were cheaper and they had them in stock in my store. they are reallll good in wet traction. as soon as i pulled out of the tire place it started to rain so i tested em. went and hit hit some wet patches and car did not shake or budge or felt like it was loosing traction. so im happy with those. probably not as much as i would be if i go get the kuhmo's but they will do for now. thanks for all the help!

Haha, yah...I have those tires here in Dayton Ohio. Not too pretty on the snow/ice. But if you take it reallllly slow, it's not an issue.
