i was wondering what the oil pressure should be on my 3.8 v6 camaro its a 97 i use to have the oil pressure up to like 70-75 and now it has dropped over like a month to like 60 - 65 is that normal or should i be worried i have synthetic oil in the car.should it just be that i have to change the oil already please help thanks.

 

It doesn't sound too alarming that I would worry over it. Might just be a result of the temperature changes depending where you are at.

 

Oil pressure changes depending on oil weight, temperature and engine speed.

My car with 5w30 synthetic
Cold Idle=55-60, Driving=70-75
Hot Idle=35-40, Driving=60-65
