I've got a 94 Firebird, and we've just installed the newly rebuilt engine. The engine turns freely, and we're getting good oil pressure while it's spinning. But it won't start.

We tried checking codes by shorting the OBD1 connector pins, but when we turn on the key, no flashing...not at all - not even code 12. What now? Do we have a dead PCM, or do we look elsewhere? I've done my best to trace wiring, and all appears OK. All the fuses are good as well.

I'm gettin' frustrated with this one!!
