Re: New kid with over heating problem

Overheating is typically a problem of the water pump, radiator, coolant, or thermostat. I would recommend checking out the water pump first. If it is alright, then move on to flush the coolant and replace the thermostat. Be sure to use the proper (orange) coolant.

Also, what do you consider "minor overheating problems?"

well ive taken it to some local shops n the answer i got was that the problem is from the previous owner not flushing the system, and that it could continue to over heat or it could stop. friend said manual fan switch could help wat u think?

Answer this so we can determine what exactly you feel the problem is.

Re: New kid with over heating problem

it seems like im losing antifreeze but im not seeing any leaks, it possibly could be boiling over, but once i add antifreeze it will go away for acouple of weeks. n when it starts to overheat i notice my heater will stop blowing hot air
