New kid with over heating problem
I bought my first camaro last year, 94' v6 auto, and by summer had minor over heating problems. ive had the freeze plugs replaced multipule times and it still is getting hot, any ideas on how to solve this problem cheap?
Re: New kid with over heating problem
Overheating is typically a problem of the water pump, radiator, coolant, or thermostat. I would recommend checking out the water pump first. If it is alright, then move on to flush the coolant and replace the thermostat. Be sure to use the proper (orange) coolant.
Also, what do you consider "minor overheating problems?"

Re: New kid with over heating problem
well ive taken it to some local shops n the answer i got was that the problem is from the previous owner not flushing the system, and that it could continue to over heat or it could stop. friend said manual fan switch could help wat u think?

it seems like im losing antifreeze but im not seeing any leaks, it possibly could be boiling over, but once i add antifreeze it will go away for acouple of weeks. n when it starts to overheat i notice my heater will stop blowing hot air
