Need some engine swap info

I have a 95 camaro w/a 3.4L V6. The headgaskets are bad and need replacing (big bucks). I am considering swapping this V6 for a 3.8 Buick V6. How much of a difference is there between these two engines installation-wise? Will I need new engine mounts? Other parts? How much of the old 3.4 parts can I recycle into the 3.8? Any information or thoughts would be helpful!

When you say Buick v6, are you talking about the 3.8 that is found in 80's Grand Nationals and the '89 TTA, or the 3.8 Series II in 96-02 F-bodies?

V6 swap

I meant the Buick 3.8 in 96-02 F-Bodies. After having read through some of the past threads, I've found that this type of swap isn't practical- new wiring harness as well as other new parts. I think I'll go either the rebuild route on my current 3.4 or just fix the head gaskets.

if you really want to swap the engine, another 3.4 would be simply obviously but i think you should just pull the engine out the bottom change all the gaskets and throw it back up.
