need detailing advice! please help

in what order do i use the following?
wax
polish
cleaner wax
how often do i have to use the above?

which do YOU prefer and why...

All the polishes I have seen are in place of wax. Meguiars and Mothers are both good products, I don't prefer one over the other.

I like Meguiars. I do a three step deal: 1. Cleaner (not cleaner/wax) 2. Polish 3. Wax (Meguiars Gold Class)

As for how often...notice how the water beads up during the first rain or first wash after applying the final wax. When the water begins to sheet off instead of bead, or feels kinda dry/streaky, then it's time to re-apply
