I have a 99 v6 with the y87 package. I was thinking of replacing the 3800 with a v8. After checking the cost I was thinking of pulling the v6 and building it up a bit. Maybe a cam and pistons if it is worth it. I'm not sure if it can be done with this motot. Any advice would be appreciated.

From what I understand he's been turboing the 'bird.

Magnus has also built his up pretty well although his is the 3.8L.

Cool

There's a head/cam package made for your car and a few guys have gotten it.There's also a supercharger out for you that a few people are running also.Of course the fastest guys are running internal motor work and nitrous just look for 12secV6 or Magnus. Those 2 I know are in the 12's and low 14's NA.Good luck.
