I have a 1999 V6 3800 Camaro. I am new to car tuning, and i was wondering what are some excellent mods that will boosts my horses, make it more throaty, and be able to beat stupid *** tuner cars? I am talkin about those stupid foreign cars that think they are bad *** because they have a 4 cylinder peice of ****.

 

couldn't tell exactly what your price range, time etc., were from you post but a good cam / heads job always does add a nice amount of HP and is generally not that expensive but it is s a little labor doing the cam swap.
off hand I could name a few cams for the LS1 but not sure for the 3.8; have heard crane cams makes a pretty decent one but I've never heard/seen any particulars on it

Comp makes some cams for the 96-newer 3800 engines.

 

anybody ever try that cam in a grand prix? as I'm thinking about it in a 2000 I just picked up to do my highway commuting
