Question LS6 swap?

I notice a lot of guys have swapped the 6's out for the LS1 and I am starting to think about doing this myself, but then I got another idea...
I havent researched this at all yet, but I was wondering if an LS6 can be put into the camaro. I figure anything can be done, but I was wondering if the LS6 would bolt in as nicely as the LS1??

Are these numbers right?? LS1 = 305hp LS6 = 385hp ?

if you are going to do a swap make it easy and do an ls1 swap. I know it is very possible with your can and an ls6 engine would cost you a lot more money. just get the ls1, add a couple of bolt ons, and there you go. It is not hard at all to make an ls1 as powerfull as the ls6. ls1 engines respond to mods very well as long as you set it all up right. just my .02 good luck

what i planned on doing wass getting the LS6 conversion. heads/cam/tunning i think its around 3 large. i would have done it at the same time as my LS1 swap, but i just couldnt afford it. so now i will just sit back, relax in the LS1, save some money and try again in a year or 2.

look at pace performance. that is where i saw it.

I am sure it is possible. I would look at the cost difference first. The LS1 is underrated according to GM it makes 305 in a Z28 but in a vette it makes 350.
