looking for numbers. . .

i'm looking at a 2000 Camaro w/ the 3800 series V-6. . . it's a very nice car at a decent price! i know it's only a V-6 but i have my reasons for wanting this car. . .

anyways, i'm just wondering what kind of power the V-6 is putting out. . . i'm sure it's not much compared to the almighty LS1!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome!

It makes 200hp and 220lb.ft torque. Check out www.f-body.org for links to many informational databases.

here are numbers from GM:

200HP/225ft.-lbs. of Torque

not bad at all... considering i had a '87 Z28 with the LG4 V-8, which by the way only puts out 170HP.
