Tuning out Burst knock issue.

Well at least lowering the numbers.
I am using TunerCat but everyone with LT1edit will probably knows what I'm talking about.
My question is; how low can I take these numbers. I'm running pig rich (no dyno testing, but enough carbon build up to give me a good idea) so I don't think that the added Air is going to Lean out the mix enough to create a problem.
Can I just Zero out the table or do I need to just lower it and see where I come out.
Another quick question, when adjusting Knock vs RPM... I've been told that 10* is more than enough. Is there a lower but at the same time safe level that this can be adjusted to or is it all dependent on each individual engine. I ask just out of curiousity because I hope that changing the burst knock table will fix my problem.
Thanks

First try running FreeScan to get an idea of where your O2 readings stand vs. RPM vs. Knock. You can log to a file for later viewing.

RPM L02 RO2 Knock
4825 0.906 0.91 9.3
4475 0.879 0.897 10
5450 0.884 0.919 8.9

These are the points when the Knock count goes up. All other knock retard is not being indicated on the knock count but the spark is being lowered.
That is why I think most of my retarding is due to burst knock.
I can send my log our if anyone wants to look at it.
