Looking to buy

Hello all,

I am looking into purchasing a 1996 3.8 liter 5 speed camaro. It has 0 options and 83,000 miles, brand new tires (probably less than 100 miles on them) what kind of things should i look into when purchasing? Do they have an opti spark? i've heard the plugs and wires can cause problems, any problems with the clutch? What kind of options were standard? AC? PS? PB? Thank you in advance any advice is appreciated.

Oh ya forgot to say they are asking 6k but the salesman said he can go to 5k but I can prolly talk him down to 4500 - 4750.

I probibly wouldnt pay above $4500 and that's assuming it's CLEAN.
I'd make sure the clutch felt good first of all.

The things you listed were standard, ABS, airbags, major options- power windows, locks, T tops, alloy wheels, fog lights, then leather, RS package (ground effects) Y87 performance package, it goes on.

If you have a base car thats fine, SLP is still offering their wheels from the SS you could pick up some nice 17's

On a side note, I found a 97RS with EVERY option 106k for 6k even, still a little much, but loaded.
