The speedo quit on this car recently, and now the fans do not come on. The SES light was on for a while & now it is out. I plugged in an OBD2 reader and it did not power up at all. The car starts & runs fine, the other gauges work.

Any ideas?

The OBD2 & fan problems were traced to the cigar/acc fuse being blown . The speedo & odo still do not work, so I will look into the speed sensor.

 

Problem #2 solved. It turns out some <Red Forman> dumb***</Red Forman> had cut off the plug to the speed sensor and soldered the wires to the pins . Fortunately, I had an old LT1 harness & cut off the speed sensor plug and wired it up like it should be.
