Interesting Idea for TB

Would a 3.8 upper intake fit on the 3.4. Reason i ask is that i think it would be interesting to change out the upper intake and tb from a 3.8 to a 3.4.

If you want a better flowning intake for a 3.4 get one (an upper and lower plenum) off a 2.8 or 3.1 camaro.

I just found out my mom's olds has a 94' 3.1, so is this change a mod free change or is there extensive work involved?

you'll need her heads, manifolds , fuel rails and a **** load of other stuff to make that work

however if you want the best possible top end for a 3.4L you need to swith over to the 3X00 alumnium heads and manifolds, which isnt exactly something for the average "wrench turnin joe" to do

Looks like the cheapest and easiest thing to do is just P&P them myself or save the headach and buy one. Thanks for the help

If you put those heads on that camaro you will end up with a 12:1 Compression ratio.
If you have a 3X00 car to get the parts off go for it.
You will need heads, intake, fuel rail, and a few others.
To lower the C/R you will have to do a few things.
Use the 3X00 pistons
Port the combustion chamber out a lot.
