Installing Power Windows?

Hi everyone. My name's Matt. I'm an 18 year old who just got his first Camaro, a 96 base coupe. Unfortunately, it didn't come with power windows. I'm not too knowledgable about cars yet, but obviously with a car like this my enthusiasm goes from not giving a crap about cars to loving them. What I'm interested in knowing is, is it possible to change manual windows into automatic? What parts must be bought? I'm not really looking for a detailed installation as much as the possibility of this project, and how much it'll cost me.

It is possible, you'll need things like motors/regulators, the switch plate for the interior and stuff like that. I'm not sure of the total cost, but the motors are like $75-$100 a piece. Honestly, if you have manual windows, keep em. They are much easier to work with and they have no motors to go out. I was stuck w/ my window down about an inch during a rainstorm and got soaked because my window motor blew on the way home from school. I guess it's just personal preference though.

You can switch them. Best place is to look in is junkyards. You can find the used parts there. Of course though the motor might not work, but then again it might. I have manual on mine because on my 93 the motor kept going out. I like having manual, but then again I hate to have to reach over to lower the other

Edit: Welcome to the board and have fun with the new car.
