i need help finding whats wrong
I am TYLER over at Camarov6.com
i figured there are also a lot of people over here who know quite a bit as well..
well basically i have this crazy misfire situation that cannot be solved what-so-ever. I've replaced..... Coil packs, Injectors, Spark Plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter.
i get a continuous misfire when above 3500 rpms.. and when i get it scanned at autozone, it does not say which cylinder is misfireing. its a PO300 Code.. so it could seriously be ANYTHING that can cause misfires like that.. its like a list of 30 different things.
anyways. the problem was fixed after months of work on my car. what i did was sanded the connections on my Ignition Control Module and cleaned them off with rubbing alcohol, and the misfires went away... however, 2 and a half weeks later its back and even worse than before. so i did the same thing i did last time and still no fix.
here is a link i posted over at Camarov6.com

As much as I hate the company, I would recomend that you take the control module out to autozone and have them test it. What engine do you have? If you have the 3800, I would also check the cam and crank position sensors, Ignition coils, and plug wires. I understand that you have replaced them, but you'd be suprised how many bad parts you can get off of the self.
problem has been fixed.
all i did was add Seafoam to the oil and through the brake booster vacuum.
10 min later after smoke cleared up.. drove it around and no more SES light, no more misfire, and a lot more spinn'n tires
