how to make v6 3.8 fsater
i kinda have what you have but i have a 90* elbow and then the filter, i want the slp intake but mine now cost like 30 bucks for the elbow AND the filter
Hey, not trying to derail your thread but before I had my Z28 I was driving a Ford Explorer at the time I wasent able to buy a Z because of the cost. I was looking at intakes and exhaust for my explorer at the time and now im really glad I didnt waste money on it. It will take alot of money to make good power in your V6 and with that kind of money you could get yourself a nice downpayment on a Z28 or SS!

Hey Mustang...please forgive my ignorance on some of these things, but I have a question....What does changing of the swaybars actually do??
I have seen this talked about before but never really knew what it does...and I do have an 01 3.8.

Changing a sway bar reduces body roll and helps you corner better.
When I had a 3.8L I did an slp intake, flow 80, MSD Dis4, alum driveshaft, LCA and PHR, subframes, wires, and a tranny mount for boltons. My favorite mods were the subframe connectors, the intake, and the alum driveshaft as far as the boltons go. I could actually tell a difference right away with those. As for really making the car move I put a 75 shot of N20 on with my zex kit. I actually beat 3 stock Lt1s with all this. I didn't need half the parts I bought but that's how you learn.
Cheap plug but if you are interested the zex kit is FS on the board.

Either way, its an improvement over stock, and if you look a z28 guys will usually sell his real cheap.
