Question Horn doesn't work

When I press the horn I only hear a clickin noise by the relay and no noise from the horn itself. What could the problem be? Also when the stock panic alarm I can only hear the same clickin noise by the relay.

The only other thing I would know how to do is check to see if the horn is connected to the wires and then check those wires to see if they are getting power. The horn is located towards the front of the car on the passenger side, it's in front of the battery but sits lower then the battery (assuming you have a fourth gen). Then I'd check to see if it's connected (the horn has a female end that the wires snap onto). If it is hooked you can unhook it to check if it has power going to it.

If it doesn't have power then it's an electrical problem which I don't know what to do other then check the fuse and you already know it's not the fuse (prey this isn't the case).

If it does have power it's the actual horn, which you will now know how to install.

You have a short in the horn that is causing the clicking noise. If you could see the relay in the dark you would see electricity popping brightly inside because of the short causing the noise. A replacement horn should cure the problem.

the horns should be attached, your car must not have come with 2.

if the horn is new then there is a short somewhere. try changing the accessories fuse

or scan the wiring diagram and look for shorts

just because the relay is clicking doesn;t mean it;s working.. they system is usaualy... 2 hots in.. ground from the horn switch to trigger the relay and send hot out.. see what you have....

Sorry.. try this... they relay should have 4 wires going to it.. with the key on and engine off or running you should have 2 postive voltage wires... then when you press the horn switch you should have a ground signal on tanother wire (usualy black) then on the last wire with the horn button pressed you should have another hot.. that hot goes out to the horns to activate it.. what you can also do is check for hot and ground at the horns themselfs.. if it;s a one wire at the horn then it should be hot when you press the button and it gets it;s ground from where it bolts to the body or frame ect..
