hope this is where to post this.. brake problem
well now that my electrical problem is gone.. seems that a new one has arisen.....
1996/v6/disc front/drum rear/automatic trans
i hope this is where this needs to be posted if not ... Sorry...
anyhow... when i pull up to a traffic light and stop.. i will be sitting there and i will see the low trac light come on ( HELLO I AM STOPPED!!! ) and the car lurches forward for about 3 feet.. it is as the front calipers are letting loose... but the rear drums are dragging ( we all know how good rear drums are with no front brakes!!!!
) then the front catch and stop the car.... can be scary... but that is my delema...
also sometimes while even pulling up to a traffic light i will slow down and get ready to stop 3 cars behind the next person... but while coasting and applying the brake... I can feel the pedal feels like it dropps, low trac light and it gets me to 2 cars length...... I have no clue what could be doing this.....
my father is a mechanic of 40+ years ( old school ) and doesnt know how to work on some of the newer cars.... but he was at a junkyard today when i two wayed him from my nextel.. he didnt know what it could be but the guy behind the counter said the borough had the same problem on a police car.. he said over the rear axle somewhere is 2 wires for the abs... one copper and one aluminum... he said sometimes they get corroded and loose resistance.... is he for real? I just wanna know b4 i gotta get my gut under that car!!!!!!!!
also the car is almost ready for front brakes.. squeelers arent hittin yet but the car has 119k miles and i havent ever had the front rotors cut and maybe changed the brakes twice in the 119k miles.... ( 100 miles a day PURE highway ) so im wondering if the brakes being low could have allowed the fluid level get low enough to allow air in the brakes? I dunno because the fluid level seems fine....

Sounds like a problem with the ABS module. Low Trac coming on and ABS pulsating - which is why you're getting the JUMP even while stopped...the brakes are clamping down, letting go, clamping again.
Have someone take a look at the ABS system on the car. That'd be my first guess...
[Edit] This might also be related to your electrical problem. If the ABS module/solenoid is energizing/de-energizing (?) due to an electrical problem, short, or drain...it might cause this too...
