V6 front coil springs and shocks

I'm going to install front V6 springs and shocks on my V8 LT1 drag racing car and I have some ?'s.

1) Can some one please check and give me the exact dia. ( in inches or mm) of the stock V6 front coil springs, I'm talking about the wire dia. not he whole spring dia. It should be around a 1/2 inch.

2) Also, what kind of shocks were standard?

3) Are there any numbers or markings to tell the difference between V6 and V8 coil springs and shocks?

Thanks, Mike

You want V6 springs but NOT the shocks.

98-later models came with DeCarbon shocks, not sure about the 93-97.

AFAIK, the shocks look the same...just the different #s.
