Go for some coilovers, they cost a lil more than usual susp. parts but you can adjust the height in a few minutes and they last longer. basically a coilover is a shock and a spring in one unit. I plan to go with "Ground control", it costs around $450 but I know exactly how I want to my car to handle in every situation (street and track). My sub box is heavy as hell too and with a V6 that can be tricky. You might have to make the whole sub enclosure outta fiberglass. Or use a dual-stealth enclosure (on each side of the rear). I'm beating the block down with my 2-12's right now but before the Nopi's I'll be designing something a lot lighter and with maybe two competition 10's and use the rear wall as my amp rack (fbodyaudio.com or f-bodyaudio.com). All this will be either fiberglass or carbon fiber. BTW where's your page at? I'd like to see your fiberglass enclosure. Anyways hopes it helps

Oh yea you can go to summit's website and check out the poly-suspension kits. They go for around $150 and come complete with all bushings and "bumpstops" if your going for the streets and cruising a minimal build-up is required, but if your like me and want your car to handle track-style under pressure (ex. hanging a deep curve at 90mph and still being able to "feel" the car)

i cant get mine any lighter with the setup i have.. i am bumping 1 planet audio dvc z-15.. box is quite large.. just click on website under my name to go to my page.. pics are on there..

o and correct me if im wrong but a coilver has nothing to do with shocks.. they are just adjustable springs.. they have a sleve that goes up through the springs with two rotating caps on the end.. the spring sits on these caps so as you screw the caps up and down the sleeve it raise or lowers your ride height.. shocks or totally sperate..

LOL dude I was on your page the other day. I did'nt know you were the same person (check ya G-book). Ok thats a big azz box, but I see why you dont want to change it around (looks nice).

I think the ground control coilovers are an integrated set of shocks with the coils on the outside of them. I could be wrong but check out the pics at RKsport.

I still need to know if you did your carbon fiber yourself or is it a kit. I have 2 fresh rolls of 2x2 3K carbon that I'll be laying over my "WHOLE" interior. So hit me back cause I'm just starting and really like how yours came out. esecially the smaller pieces (ashtray cover, console etc...)
