Help. The 3.4 is overheating.
Hey guys. My car has been overheating, and I know somewhat how it's overheating, but not exactly what's causing it. Basically, I'd start by checking the coolant level in the radiator and it was very low. So I filled it back up to the top. After driving it and letting it cool down, the coolant had gone down a lot again. So after checking the level in the radiator, I would also check the level in the reservoir. The level in the reservoir had went up every time, and now it gets to the point it overflows out of the little hole that's on the reservoir cap. So basically, the coolant I'm putting in the radiator gets pushed into the reservoir, but isn't pulled back in. Do you guys know what could be causing this? I recently replaced the thermostat.

Take the overflow tube off the top of the radiator and try to blow through it, it may be partially clogged, allowing high-pressure coolant out but not drawing it back through. You could also try replacing your radiator cap.
hey man the same happened to me today about 30 minutes ago i got home from work and the car was over heating. i checked the fans and they werent working. i started to check and saw the wires on the cooking fan torn. some how one of the pulleys got a hold of it and did away with it so you could have the same problem
