why would all of a sudden my heater stop working all the time? in the morning I used to be able to let the car warm up and by the time I get in it the heat would be blowing hot air...

now when I get in its cool....till I start moving and then even still it doesnt stay blowing hot it would fluctuate from hot to cold....and then I noticed my car temp gauge is reading way hot!....but goes up and down...cool hot cool hot...and so does the heat in the car


whats up with that? what do I need to look into or change?
