Headers and Y-Pipe on a 2002 Camaro V6
Hey All,
I just got another Y-pipe for my Camaro thanks to a nice local Camaro owner
But before I had some y-pipe work done to the car, I was wondering if I should look into putting headers on a V6??
I don't know if it would really make a lot of difference, I already installed a Flowmaster Dual Exhaust w/ 24" inch tips and that made a huge difference! But I would like a little more.. just wondering what you think and if anyone had changed the headers and y-pipe on a 98-02 v6 what they thought of the upgrade.
Thanks!

Not sure if you will get the response you are looking for in the "Appearance" forum. Why not post on V6 Tech or in the Exhaust forum?
I can move the post if you want.

from what i've read the Headers will make a big differene in sound, it will sound much deeper like a v8. I dont like my car being that loud myself, it gets old. I have also heard that the headers that came on 2000 & newer cars were pretty damn good and that aftermarkets aren't a whole lot better, search it and read the old posts about headers.
