Head bolts: TTY?

Are the head bolts used in a 1994 3.8L torque to yield? This is actually an engine in a Lumina APV, but it's the same thing.

Thanks!

i think so, not 100% sure but if they are and need replacing I'd recommend head studs

Re: Head bolts: TTY?

my 2002 v6 3.8L is TTY fo sho.
I've had to replace the head bolts 3 times so thats like $80 altogether just for bolts.
I plan on getting ARP studs next time.
