I have a stage 2 grandnational motor and i wanna put it in my 96t firebird i seen it done ahd heard of it being done many times but i cant find anyone to make the motor mounts for ne if you know of anyone who did it or can do it please PLEASE help me out email me at bumpinrecords@aol.com

 

Try posting this in LT1 Tech. I know it's not an LT1, but there are alot of VERY knowledgeable people in there.

 

i know you havent heard of it THAT many times, or you might of heard about the same guy over and over.

 

well i heard of it 3 times so far i was able to get in touch with one of the guy who is from indiana he is trying to find the program blueprints to send it to me the other guy is on gm highperformance magazine not able to get in touch with and then a guy who use to know a webb address to a person who did a few but he dont ahve the addy no more whats your point

 

my point is GN swappers are few and far between. the guy who installed my power pack had done it to his firebird. but i havent talked to him in years so i am really of no help to ya. sorry.

 

Find guido on the board- ususally in the FI forum. Not him, but his buddy is doing it.

 

Hey erik i did talk to the guy who did that swap. He sent me pictures and he is trying to send me the blueprints he have on a program he used to make the mounts but he moved from indiana to somewhere south and having trouble findind them. well i got intouch with the guy on gm hightech performanc who also did the swap and im jsut waiting for a responce. I willlet you all know what happend n all thanks for you all help

 

MAN I AM SOO HAPPY THANKS TO A GUY ON HERE NAME AUTHER, he hooked me up with his friend they make a kit for the gn motor and trans mount for under 300 thanks for all you guys help cause now these street racers here are in big trouble now im looking for a 98-2002 front nose and hood for my car, let me know if you all know where i can look for body parts like that on line thanks
