Chick across the street has a switch (like ASR) thats labeled SGS. WTF is that??

Second gear start in manuals(?). I think it's for traction in snow or something.

Second gear start.....I'll have to check it, But since it's an auto, you start in park

Yah, the only 2 switches in a manual are the ASR and foglights. Thanks anyway!!

its second gear start. supposed to be used in icy conditions and the like, but being here in san antonio, i have never had any use for it.

So when you pull the gear selector into "D" and hit the switch, the tranny automatically starts in 2nd gear?? Makes sense to me no spinning out.
I know how you feel about San Antonio, I was stationed at Randolph for 4 years
