fuel line trouble....HELP PLEASE

I was changing some gaskets over the weekend and when I was able to get everything back together except one thing. The fuel rail on my 3.4 and the injectors are in place but I can not get the fuel lines back into the fuel block. There are two O-rings inside the fuel block and I keep trying to push the lines in but they won't go in. I took the rings out and the lines aren't in the fuel block tight enough.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get these lines in?

Any help would be appreciated.

Shaun

I tried lubing them up with some oil as recommended but it didn't work.

I called the local Chevy dealership and they want $25 for new seals. The sales manager said that I could have possibly got brake cleaner on the o-rings and caused them to swell.

Any other ideas?

brake cleaner will not swell the seals. but i would get new ones for safetys sake. use some silglide. i think the seals go on the line then you screw the line on.

I cleaned my fuel injectors with the o-rings on and they swelled up form the brake cleaner.

there is nothing to screw on. the fuel line go into the fuel line and then a plate goes over top to hold them.

you don't screw the fuel lines into anything

thanks for the help though, byrons
