I'm just curious, can't you still use the whisper lid with the LS1? Where are you getting your parts from for the swap? Just wondering because I'm getting everything together to do a swap myself. Just being nosey....

 

the whisper lid I have now will not work. If you look @ where the intake is placed in conjunction with the lid - on the LS1 it's in the center, whereas on the LS1 it's off to the right a tad. I'm getting my parts from a wrecked 01 Z28 I bought for 6K. It has 12K on the clock and still runs fine. Just has some damage to the rear quarter panel and passenger door. Everything else will be parted out to compensate for the price of the swap.

I guess you mean that on the LS1 it is in the center and on the V6 it is off centered, right?
