Fipk

I was just wondering if installin the FIPK was a pain in the butt to anybody else in here. Im 17 and weigh 135 and my little hands barely fit up in were the filter is to tightn it. Most of the iinstaltion was pretty easy just the need to redeasine a better way to get that filter on and off with out having to cut and bruise your hand up. Especially if you have to take it of every 20-30,000 for a cleaning.

yeah, i was fixn to say it was a little much for a guy with an icon like that. And i was just saying - for what it is- i thought it was diff. to install it. Try rebuilding and 6.2L Diesel in a pickup that has 10 inches of lift! Getting that baby in and out of there is a nightmare!

20,000 or 30,000 is a bit much...by then your filter would be pretty dirty. This past weekend I cleaned my SLP filters that had been on for roughly 10,000 and they were DIRTY!

Don't know about the K&N, but all I had to do was lift the car, undo 7 bolts, remove the guard and pull the filters off.

Then reverse it.
