engine swap

This summer im gonna do an engine swap in my 99 v6. I dont have enough for an LS1 motor so Im gonna get an LT1. What exactly do I need to do this. I know an LS1 is easier and its cheaper to sell my 6 and by an 8 but I am going to do the swap anyways.

Besides the lt1 engine and transmission, what do I need. Can I get parts off a used lt1 car. What Im saying is, can I get the PCM, gauges, motor mounts, and whatever else I need off the car?

Is there a website that lists every single item needed to do this type of swap?

I tried but I cant get any straight forward answers on an LT1 in a 99 V6. I found LT1 in 94s and stuff but, no newer V6s.

If you're really serious about doing a swap, you're going to want an LS1, not an LT1. Especially if it's a 99'. You're going to need the cross member, suspension, fuel tank and lines, possibly master cylinder, radiator, dash gauges and wiring harness, tranny, engine mounts, engine (of course) with harness, ECU, and if you don't have the Y87 with posi, you're probably going to want that as well. There's a couple of sites that specialize in engine swaps, but they really don't tell you everything. If you can afford to purchase a wrecked donor car that would seriously be to your advantage.
Try looking at these sites:

www.hpsalvage.com
www.speedautomotive.com

They were pretty helpful when I was looking into doing a swap myself, but due to California Smog regulations, I can't do it. I also have a few parts already that I'm not going to need so if you're interested let me know. Otherwise, you may be able to get some of the necessary parts from Ebay for a reasonable price.

Believe me, and I'm sure everyone else here will agree with me....save your money and get the LS1
