Those sprint springs are to much of a drop, if you use them you will most likey pop a shock. At 1.8'' you could bottem out your shocks but I don't think that's low enough to damage them.
You will need those springs and a tiny camber ajustment to compensate for the change in angle from the drop mainly so you don't ware out your frount tires.

just my opinion but sportlines are too damn low. the rear end of the car squats more than the front end and sometimes makes it look tilted slightly backwards. in addition 4th gens are already low, ground clearance may be an issue with these. i had a friend with an SS who had his for a few months and changed em out for BMRs. IMO, the eibach prokit springs are a perfect drop for camaros. just something to think about.

You WILL need new shocks. Eibach's eat stock shocks...besides, you want something better than stock if you go with lowering springs. I have Bilsteins...love them.

ImportKiller, are the stock shocks that bad with lowering springs? I have a set of eibachs that I was planning on installing with SLP take-offs. Are you saying that the stockers won't last long with the drop springs, or that they are just not "performance" oriented?

Cool

Both. They aren't performance oriented and they won't last with the aftermarket springs. They were meant for the stock springs. If you look at the SLP suspension kit, it replaces the shocks.

IMO, stock shocks are not a good fit for lowering springs. If you are willing to spend the $$$ on the springs, get the shocks as well while you are there replacing the parts.

There are a few who haven't had any problems with the stock shocks (yet), but I've seen two of my friends who tried to go that route only to have to replace their shocks within a few months.

i got the eibach pro kit on my 95 3.4 v6.... w stock shocks... i love the drop and my ride quality is awesome.... i also have the RKSport CA-100 ground effects and that makes it look even more dropped..... if you get springs i suggest getting new shocks such as the SLP SS take-offs... they are cheap and stiffer than your v6 shocks..... check out pics of my car on www.teamrushcc.com ...

They are the same shocks that came on the V6.

Same DeCarbon shock...slightly stiffer than the V6 shocks.

I've had both on...couldn't tell any difference.

SLP take-offs are OK for replacements...for real performance, no.

They're decent, but there are better units available.

your stock shock get in sort of a "groove" when you start playin with were they set they WILL prematurely wear out. i have monroe sensatracs or something, if i would have known i had to change the shocks then i woulda held off and orderd somw kyb adjustables, or something else.
oh i do have some clearance problems on realy steap driveways, and gigantic speed bumps, but i normaly dont have a problem, and i live in michigan, home of the worst roads ever!! you just have to pay attention to whats ahead of you!!
