dynomax, and how to stop rasp, when rev?

i looking to buy a Dynomax super turbo muffler, i just wanted to know how they sound on a 3.8 v6 camaro.

also ya know that weird rasp sound around 3500 to 5000, what the hell is that, and will is stop with a new exhaust?

ohh the infinate exhaust sound questions.
the car will sound better than stock, but thats it. it wont sound mean or even manly. it will just sound better than stock. meaning you will hear it a little bit when you start the car. if you run it at the track the spectators wont even hear your car go by with just a super turbo muffler. i know cause my wife still laughs about that.
and that raspy pop will only go away if you free up your exhaust to an extreme measure. and i mean extreme - engine work-cam-headers-wider exhaust pipes. unless you do that, you will be stuck with it.

He hit it right on the head. I've noticed many of your topics are about the same topic (exhaust work). You'll endear yourself a lot more to the other board members if you take a few minutes and use the SEARCH feature. Just type in "exhaust", "dynomax", etc.

These questions have been asked NUMEROUS times before.
