Do our Cars have trans coolers?

the way peopl install them on here you would think we dont have them stock, but I thought most, if not all cars and trucks had them???

all I can read on search is about aftermarket coolers.

Does my 2000 v6 camaor have a stock trans cooler??

I have a temp gauge on my trans on a pillar gauge in the car, it gets up to 160-180 in the summer after about 15 minutes of interstate driving and it usally stays below 100 in the winter. It can get up to 220 degrees in the summer in city driving.

thanks

Maybe. I dont have a 4th gen but just look for yourself. There will be lines coming from the tranny to the radiator or a auxillary cooler in front of the radiator i believe.

I believe our cars use the radiator as a trans cooler b/c there are oil lines that run up to it from the tranny. Might want to get under there and check for yourself though b/c I'm not entirely sure. I don't believe our cars have an actual seperate trans cooler though.

I waited almost a month for a simple yes/no answer dickweed, it's pretty rediculous. I posted the same question over on LS1 and got the answer in a day.
