3.4 v6 wont start when warm...
Hello to everyone...
My 3.4 V6 was been overhauled during the last 8 months.. The car was completely unasembled, I took the engine, interior, doors, windshields and everything because I changed the color..
I did nothing to the engine, the car was working perfect before the proyect began.. The car has 63000 miles and automatic transmision.
After the Reassembly, at the begining the car was low fuel and no one noted. Probably that made the fuel pump to decrease pressure (but I havent checked yet), or the fuel regulator is fastened or damaged due to the long non operating time. I did change the ECM and the ignition module and the problem was fuel, then the engine was operating normally for a few days.. I had to replace the harmonic balancer seal and theres were the Headache begun.
During the last week the car did not started because there was an inyectors fuse damaged (caused by a inyector bare wire that grounded).. I replaced it and fixed the wire and the car starts inmediatly when cold, during the warming the "SES" light comes on but the engine stills working well at idle and at hi RPMīs, Once it gets the operating temperature and if you turn off the car and tries to start it again. It wont starts, the engine cranks and cranks and cranks, and you hear some minor combustions but NEVER starts.. The only thing I see its not working is the instrument cluster temperature meter, but I grounded the connector and the gauge moved, so the sender unit must be damaged.(does this sensor also help with the mixture arrengment in the ECM)
I did checked each sparkplug and there is spark.. Well the spark plugs have a little bit carbon, but i did changed two months before the proyect began(Im gonna clean them)..
Will the CKP located above the harmonic balancer got damaged during the seal replacement caused by the hammer impacts? Can the new ignition module be damaged?? Or A bad coil that when warms wont work??
HELP ME PLEASE....
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY...
