is the top dash piece that goes up to the windshield the same on a 97 as it is on my 95??

I thought they changed the interior in 97... I know they changed the EXTERIOR in 98.

Also do the 97 ... or 98+ if I'm wrong... Camaro and Firebird use that same top console piece that touches the windshield? mine's cracked severely and I wanted to know by chance if I found one in a firebird if I could use it.

 

I belive the dash peice firebird to firebird is the same all through out, with exception to the 98+ which has the hole for the theft lock light and the vents might be a little different,

I appologize if its for a camaro it may be different
