93 sentra ser lol vs my y87 00 bird

yo fellas, my buddy who i really shouldnt even call my buddy. is an a$$ who talks poop on v6 f-bodys especially mine. he has this 95 m5 dodge neon sport coupe, that he thought would take me, lol that was a joke, but anyway i killed him by 4 cars and now hes gettin a 1993 sentra ser m5 and is sayin if he puts some mods like a cai, exhaust, and an msd ign, he will take me. i dont think he will. he always says i run high 15's low 16's and i never ran my car at the track lol. can u guys please tell me who will win? i know i could possibly beat him THANX

yeah, he wont have any prob with traction with his 12 f torque, so if you get a bite on the ground you will have him. he might keep up at start off for a few seconds but...

i was told the sentra runs 15.80's stock but im pretty sure ill squeeze a low 15 at the track but his car is a lot lighter so im iffy about this. my firebird has 18's all around, but i really dont feel a diff in power. i think if i can launch on him good ill have him. my launch is basicly the whole race lol

Maybe a new Sentra runs 15.8, lol. It probably runs 17's or maybe even 18's.

the early 90s sentra SE-Rs were mid 15 second cars. C&D got one 0-60 in 7 flat.

they were mid 15 second cars when brand new. that car is 14-15 years old and probably wont perform the same. then again with mods it may out perform depending on the mechanical skill or wallet of you buddy.

instead of racing him how about you get some timeslips and compare the best ones. that way you can each race a few runs and tune different things. also can save yourself from gettin ebarrassed incase his is a faster car.

i dont know much about sentras, but i know there were a few early sentras that had motors that could withstand serious boost.

not that it matters but my friend christians 04 sentra ser is as fast or faster than my friend bills stock 87 mustang gt (14.4 1/4)

i know my firebird will eat him, cause i beat new ser spec v's by a car length. all i have is a flowmaster catback. but as soon as i launch its hard for 4 bangers to comeback unless they got a turbo. and ur right my car is much hotter, the only chix he can pimp are 40 year old bowling alley ladies.
