I think you mean turbo. I also think this guy is feeding you a load of bullcrap! It'd be a huge waste of time and money to retro the turbo off a Turbo T, on top of that retro an intercooler off a cobra. The cost of fabrication alone would be more costly and time consuming than just buying an aftermarket intercooled turbo set-up made for the car.

I'd like to know what year mustang he is putting this on, from what Cobra he's getting an intercooler from and where he's getting 300rwhp from. LMAO! That guy is full of it!

From 89-95 there was a supercharged V6 Thunderbird. Since it was RWD the engine layout is similar a Mustang and I guess the supercharger fits pretty easily. It made about 220HP stock, and there's a pretty good aftermarket, so 300HP is possible. Of course, no one ever exagerates their HP Fitting an intercooler is a pretty easy job.

GMs supercharged V6 went on FWD cars, so the engine layout is totally different and the supercharger won't fit our cars. Not a conspiracy, just luck.

and if he was talking about a turbo , it would not be a complete waste of money , me and a friend of mine took one off a t-bird , and an intercooler from a Sabb , and msc pipes that we could find for cheap , and turboed his probe for under 500

the supercharger this guy is talking about is probably real...i know of a couple cars with T- bird S/Cs on them.....the turbo coupe was RWD of course but the turbo was feeding a 2.3 liter inline 4 so its VERY unlikely hes feeding a 3.8 with it....the Thunderbird super coupe was basically IDENTICAL motor-wise to the 94-98 3.8 liter pushrod V6 found in mustangs....in fact supersixmotorsports.com has powerpacks for both cars and they are identical (except i THINK the cam MAY have been different.) i have to agree tho it does kind of suck that V6 f-bodies dont have that luxury but then again why did ford need two different 2-door, rear-drive, 3.8 Liter sport coupes???

yea its real. we had to measure it for the belt. he said that he has seen a few other v6s with the same setup also. he said what he was running but i cant remember. anyways a guy that i work with has a 98 z with stuff done to it and we all came to the conclusion that the mustang would not take the z but it would be fairly close
