How do I install a new EGR value on a 91 3.1L V6 Camaro. Are they are tips or tricks in doing it? What is involved? Is it very hard?

 

Mine was making my car run horrible. Rather than buying a new one, I just removed it and made a couple seals out of some siding to close up the intake and the EGR ports. I have a 94 3.4L. Here is a pic of my EGR.

Do a search and there is plenty of posts about this. Mine is electrical, so I couldnt manually move it. You may be able to just get some Throttle body cleaner and clean it. I tried, but being an electrical one, it only helped a slight bit.

But really it is very simple on my car. Removed 2 10mm bolts and the power connector and she came right off. There is also a gasket in between the two. Most EGRs come with a new one. GL.
